About Us
TAR HEEL MINI MOTORING CLUB (THMMC) was founded in May of 2005. The purpose of the Club is to allow MINI owners to keep in touch, join with other MINIac’s in great events all year long, and to just have fun. Unbeknownst to the Club members, they all suffer from a condition that didn’t have a name when the Club was formed. Today they have been diagnosed with and have accepted that they all suffer from Obsessive MINI Compulsive Disorder (OMCD). There is no known cure. They can only console each other by sharing adventures with their MINIs and driving the North Carolina roads with other MINIs. If you have been diagnosed with this affliction and have been ostracized by family and friends, there is help. THMMC is a place of refuge for all those suffering from OMCD. Check out our site, inside are the secrets of where you can find us and join in on the fun. If you are in denial, it’s okay, we understand, we ourselves have been there. We hope to see you around.
Events and Runs
Throughout the year, THMMC and its members hold various events. From multi-day driving and single day runs, charitable events, lunches and dinners, we try to keep a full, yearly schedule. Be sure to check our events page to find events that you might want to attend.
If this is your first time doing an event with us, be sure to reach out to our drivers and ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS! No question is too stupid.
